Unable to park car next to tent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, beautiful views from camp. Friendly staff and the facilities were very clean would absolutely recommend

Friendly and helpful with excellent facilities in case of bad weather. Pitches were level with plenty of electric hookups. Views of Blencathra could not be bettered. Toilets and showers were clean and well designed. The best thing was the culture which the owners encouraged, so clean up after showering/ washing-up, no noise after 10pm “Be Good Campers think of Others” all of which people did. So other campers were chatty and friendly. Noticed the owner cleaning a pod on my way to the shower block, on returning 20 minutes later he was just finishing off. Summed up the time that was put in to ensure a high standard.

Excellent facilities, communal room with wifi, microwave, fridge and freezer and indoor tables. Sheltered area for gas stoves was really helpful with rainy weather. Showers and toilets lovely and clean. Nice little shop on site and beautiful views.

Tiny bit of noise from main road but not really noticeable. Not always someone available in reception which was not ideal although understandable with it being family run. When there was someone in they were friendly and helpful.

Great site that caters for everyone’s needs.
Toilet and shower blocks are modern and clean.
Children enjoyed the small play park allowing freedom and to make new friends.
The greatest advantage of this site is the opportunity to use a communal room that allows use of fridge , freezers , microwave, toasters , seating , and what topped it off was the ability to use our gas stove under shelter at designated stove points. This helped due to the heavy rain and wind.

Absolutely loved the site, staff were friendly and helpful. When I explained we were camping with friends they were happy to allow us to move plots to be close to the park and each other. Will most definitely be visiting again.
