Freindly staff clean facilities and lovely views easy driving distance of Keswick and Penrith

The surrounding are out of this world . Waking up to the sound of the wildlife in the morning and the small babaling brook just below your balcony is one of the best things ever. Great site . Great forcilaties. And plenty to do. And very quite. Great for cuppels.

No WiFi . But your there to relax and to turn off. So why would you need WiFi.

Very well kept site with helpful staff. Superb views over to Blencathra. Great base for hiking in the Lake District.

The whole experience from the farm staff, Camping reception staff and all other campers and Caravaners on site.
Clean well kept site , toilets and showers with the added visit from the resident peacocks .

All in an all a fantastic place to stay in the area and one we will definitely be back to.

Poor Wi-Fi on site if thats your thing but we don’t go away for that but it was available in the cabin area for us .

Great facilities, really clean toilets, showers etc.
Offer shared facilities e.g kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge & freezer.
Quiet campsite with stunning views.

The view was stunning - Blencathra close up! Plenty of space in the camping field if you don't mind a short walk to the facilities. Friendly and helpful owners. Hire of firepit etc may seem pricey but actually it's worth it considering you get a big bag of logs plus kindling and starters. Good facilities which were mostly very clean. Nice and quiet at night.

No hot water in the washing up sinks and on one occasion I had a cool shower, I would have preferred it hot!
The lane nearby can be surprisingly noisy with farm vehicles and you can hear the main road unfortunately.

Great facilities from the camping pod to clean toilets and showers. Amazing views too

Great location to access the lakes. Loved the clean shower facilities with extras such as comfy chairs and a real hairdryer. The communal room with kettles and toasters were also a great idea and a real help for those without electricity
