Lovely site with amazing views. Toilets and showers clean. You can pick where you pitch up which is nice as not many places offer this and if you are with other families you can all pitch together.

There is a community area with a microwave, a park, a shop which isn't massively overpriced.

Do not have anything bad to say about this site at all. Will def be re booking.

Excellent site with fantastic facilities including warm showers clean toilets community room with kettle, toaster, microwave and tv. Camping stove cooking area. Great kids play area. Site team were very helpful my electric hookup lead was too short and let me borrow a longer one. A short drive away from Keswick and Ullswater. A great base for ticking of Wainwright walks in the area.

Amazing views. Great facilities. Easy access to walks

Little enforcement of noise rules, rather loud and alcohol fuelled neighbours both nights which meant for a lack of sleep. It might be the owners are happy with that market but if they want hikers and repeat customers I would suggest a walk around at 11/midnight to remind people of the noise rules

The campsite is conveniently located for travel to and from major routes, also to the many mountains and lakes making it ideal.
The campsite is well presented with mown grass pitches and many electrical hook ups, so useful for modern life!
BBQs and firepits are permitted, you can hire the latter, also buy wood, kindling and fire lighters from the shop.
While the majority of the pitches were on slightly sloping ground, we found flat land beyond the fence and hedge, closest to Blencathra.
The washroom facilities appear to have been refurbished recently.

Despite the washroom facilities having been refurbished not too long ago, it looks likely that they haven't been cleaned, other than a token wipe down, ever since. There is a significant amount of dust and debris upon many of the pipes and porcelain fittings that really, really shouldn't be there.
Although the proximity to the A66 is convenient for travel, it also is an unwelcome source of noise. Not that it's immediately close by, just a little annoying at times

Excellent site, facilities were very clean and tidy. Family friendly, great scenery. Would definitely go back. Only about 8 miles from Penrith. 15 mins from Ulswater lake which is amazing.

Nothing to dislike

Hard standing and flat pitch, water point not far away, toilets close by too. Clean area and toilets. Friendly owners and happy to serve and give advice.

No real problem except didn’t have Wi-Fi connection.

Camping pod was brilliant, clean, spacious and perfectly situated.
Morning views were amazing, friendly owners and very helpful

No WiFi available in camping pods, have to walk to communal area for WiFi.

Liked that it was on a farm and able to see the animals. Pitch sizes were big and there was a campers cabin.
The showers and toilets were clean and modern. There was a lovely little walk to a waterfall and river.

The play area was suited more to older kids rather than small ones but that's more a personal one.
