Enjoy the atmosphere found near the Mexican border by the sea, where two cultures, one Hispanic and the other, a frontier Western cowboy culture, meet. Breeze Lake RV Campground offers a relaxed atmosphere filled with the shade of hibiscus and palm trees. Located on a small lake, Breeze Lake is cooled by Gulf of Mexico breezes and warmed by wonderful Texas sunshine. During the winter months, Breeze Lake is a very active place, hosting numerous dinners, special events and entertainers of different genres. Among the events offered are art classes, card games, church services and bible study. Many take part in a park bowling league as well as weekly golfing excursions.

Local attractions

Breeze Lake Campground is located minutes from Brownsville International Airport which houses the Confederate Air Force Museum. It is also only 25 minutes from South Padre Island and its beautiful beaches and related activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, fishing and shell-collecting. Brownsville is home to the Gladys Porter Zoo and 30 minutes from the Iwo Jima monument. Boca Chica Beach, a totally natural environment, is also only 20 minutes away. Many shopping, dining and site-seeing opportunities are available within a short distance, chief among them, the annual Charro Days Festival which takes place each February/March.
