Ready for some time on the Turkish coast? Perhaps a quick escape from city life in Antalya? Check out Çekirdeksiz Mandalin Camping, in a splendid spot in the seaside resort of Kemer, about 40 minutes’ drive from Antalya.
The site’s name translates to ‘seedless tangerine’ and it’s a very fitting name – this place is indeed tucked away in a lush tangerine grove, with pine trees also adding to the shade, the scent and the sense of peace. The town’s beaches are just a few minutes’ walk away (with all sorts of fun activities available, like diving, jetskiing, wakeboarding and banana boats) but you’ll also have a gorgeous backdrop of the Bey Mountains to look up at from your pitch.
The relaxed, nature-filled atmosphere on site may well make you feel like you’re right out in the countryside, but in fact it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the site to the downtown area for shops, places to eat, bars and nightlife.
All of that means this is a very convenient base for a seaside holiday – and there’s a good list of convenient facilities on site too, including clean toilets, showers (with 24-hour hot water), a wifi connection, a launderette and a washing-up area. Barbecues are permitted, and there’s also a stove available for guest use, plus large shared fridges for stashing all your food and drinks.
