Camping El Raco

Liked: Absolutely nothing it’s a dump.

Disliked: Huge building site on 3 sides about the size of 10 football pitches. From 7.30 in the morning until 5.00 pile driving concrete dust so bad you can taste it. Left 9 days early could not take the constant noise and dust. Apparently it is going on until Sept next year. Do not touch stay clear.

Liked: Excellent well run site with spotless facilities. Easy reach of Benidorm centre and a short bike ride on cycle paths from the beautiful Albir. Plenty of bars/restaurants within easy reach of the site. Fabulous pool area and shower and toilet facilities are the best we’ve ever across. Friendly resident campers. Excellent supermarket on site. Will definitely stay again.

Disliked: The only thing we disliked was the food service finishing at 4pm. That said there were plenty of other places to eat.

Liked: Good central site with water on each pitch. Bar & Resteraunt on site and small supermarket.

Disliked: Cost per night quite high.

Disliked: I have sent a complaint direct to you. Waiting to hear back. Left site 3 days before end of stay. It is not acceptable as building work and constant noise from 8am to late. Constant disgusting smell of sewage . So bad made me ill. Pitch Up is fantastic for sites in general but this should be taken from your web site. Site houses long term or constant living occupancy. Staff are excellent but working under difficult conditions.

But you were notified via email of the works on 30/03/2024. More than a week before your check in day at our campsite. We always do our best to make sure that our guests enjoy their stay, but apart from letting our guests know about the works in advance, there is not much more we can do, we are sorry. The works are scheduled to be finished in November. We apologise again for any inconvenience caused,

Liked: Pitch was fine.

Disliked: Ongoing building work, which commenced at 8 am and continued until 8 pm. The dust created by the demolition work was horrendous with no method of control to dampen down the dust. This triggered allergies for both my husband and myself. The only prior warning we had was to state the Petaque court had been relocated.

Liked: Great location,toilet and shower was very clean and tidy ,lots of washing machine to use ,little shop on site had good variety of food and nice fresh vegetables and not over priced

Disliked: Having to pay overpriced for electric ,lots more long time pitches so not that many for people to get on for one or two nights

Liked: Nice clean tidy site , really pleasant staff, plenty of amenities, reception really helpful, shop well stocked

Disliked: Nothing really, site has refurbished many of the toilet blocks and are going to do the rest but even the unrefurbished ones were exceptionally clean
