Liked: Proper sanitair, goeie warme douche, mooi zwembad, dichtbij het strand.

Disliked: Campingrestaurant, duur en niet lekker, wel jammer dat dit tegensloeg Mooie camperplaats maar weinig privacy als het druk zou zijn bij ons was dit niet het geval

Liked: Campsite was good. Receptionists very helpful. Great for children as there were plenty of school trips there. Beach fantastic.

Disliked: Some of staff in restaurant are burnt out do not enjoy their job. There is no English version of menu when I asked a member of staff why? she totally lost it shouting and rude.

Liked: Close to beach, shop well stocked for early season. Pitches not to bad when dry unfortunately we arrived in rain so a little sludgy but dried quickly.

Disliked: Showers and toilets could do with cleaning more often although Showers were hot and hot water at sinks for shaving.

Liked: Clean bathrooms and toilets Spacious pitches with hedging Quiet Helpful staff Convenient location For Tarifa and the beach

Disliked: Dryer wasn’t functional and we wasted a lot of money on it; No offer of refund Being prepared for the summer; noisy works going on- should have been completed before they reopened the site

Liked: Absolutely loved this place. Came in October so it was very quiet. Booked for 3 nights and loved it so much extended it to 9. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Very clean facilities - toilets/showers/laundry. Short walk to the gorgeous beach!

Liked: Un sitio tranquilo, al menos en la temporada que he ido y bastante económico, necesite pasar una noche de urgencia y me saco del apuro. Los baños limpios y agua caliente en las duchas.

Disliked: Para ir a cualquier sitio, en coche siempre. El recepcionista un poco seco.

Local attractions

Watersports, secluded beach basks, ancient sites and green gardens are all within easy reach of Camping Paloma, along with a vast range of activities: the reception staff can help you arrange climbing, mountain biking, quad tours, birdwatching tours and lessons in diving, surfing and windsurfing as well as day trips to Morocco. The beach of Valdevaqueros, 400 metres away from the site, is a fave throughout Spain for its surf, and has a beachfront and surrounds crammed with restaurants and chiringuitos for tapas and cervezas after an afternoon among the waves. Other popular sandy stretches like Playa de los Lances and Playa de Bolonia are within a short drive, and the secluded Playa de los Alemanes is next to Zahara de los Atunes, the fishing village famed for its tasty tuna: try it out in one of the many restaurants and bars. Local town Tarifa dates back to the eighth century and has many a sight to see, like tenth-century Guzman castle near the port (most recommended), the sixteenth-century Church of St Matthew built over a former mosque, and the Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia and the Necrópolis de los Algarbes. Tarifa is in the migrating bird haven of the Intercontinental Mediterranean Biosphere Reserve: look out for storks flapping ahead over the Straits of Gibraltar in spring and autumn.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

General

A state-issued fishing license is required (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs are required to wear a muzzle.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
