Comfort FHU gravel and earth campsite

Liked: Nice clean facilities. Bar with large terrace and entertainment (needs to be booked in advance). Fabulously well stocked shop. Staff all nice and polite. Lovely pool area. Fenced area where dogs could run around.

Disliked: The pitches. We were on a gravel pitch overlooking some permanent pitches which were crowded with caravans/motorhomes, cars, awnings and storage containers. We felt as though we were sitting in a car park and it was very unappealing.

Liked: Hemos pasado un fin de semana buenísimo en éste camping. Lugar súper tranquilo para poder desconectar. El chico que nos atendió en la recepción,le pongo un 10,muy amable y muy simpático. Hoy hemos estado en la piscina y hemos comido en el restaurante, y todo buenísimo. Volveremos a repetir sin duda en este camping,ha sido una maravilla. Gracias por el trato y nos vemos pronto!!!!

Liked: Los baños estaban bastante limpios al igual que el resto de instalaciones. Es un sitio muy tranquilo para pasar unos días relajados.

Disliked: Lo único que podría mejorarse es el poner una lona o un toldo en la zona de tiendas de campaña para reducir un poco el calor que de buena mañana ya aparece.

Liked: Para Caravaca es ideal. Buen restaurante y un supermercado muy bien abastecido

Disliked: Para tienda campaña. No tiene sombras y las piquetas no agarran en la graba. No lo recomiendo

Liked: The friendly community at the site was very welcome. Pitch was good size although the curb up onto it was quite steep. Bar/restaurant was excellent. There was karaoke the night we were there and all the local residents joined in. Facilities good and pool was excellent.

Disliked: The site is rather remote and this could be an issue if staying for any length of time.

Local attractions

Find your way to peaceful beaches and wild coastal landscapes in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park… with especially scenic stretches of sand at Playa de Mónsul (an hour's drive) Playa de los Genoveses (an hour) and Los Muertos beach (40 minutes), you’ll be free to snorkel, swim, sail, hike or fish as you please. If you’d rather switch the beach for hiking and wild swimming, head to Nacimiento del Rio Aguas (20 minutes). There are many spectacular places to hike around this area, that’s for sure. You could challenge yourself to steeper climbs along Cerro de La Mezquita (40 minutes), explore the area around the Iglesia de Teresa (20 minutes) church or get ready for views of the hills, mountainside roads and the sea from Mirador De La Granatilla (35 minutes).

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, RV or accommodation hire) traveling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Arrivals and departures

If the reception is closed on arrival, please check in at the Restaurant.

Occupancy

Single-sex bookings of 5 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/07 and 30/09 (subject to weather conditions).

The park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
