If you’re not really a sitting on the beach type, you’re in luck – Li Junchi is also a hotspot for watersports, with kitesurfing and surf lessons on hand for those whose technique needs a bit of a boost. The folk on site can also suggest coastal routes if you’d like to stretch your legs or ride your bike. For a different way to see your surrounds, join a kayaking trip along the Coghinas river or trot over to the riding stables 15 minutes’ walk away to canter through the surf. Too much effort? Join a boat trip from Isola Rossa, a 15-minute drive away, and you’ll get some fab views of hidden coves as you cross to the southern corner of Corsica. If you’ve still an appetite for more watery antics, take the 15-minute drive to Aquafantasy waterpark; if you’ve decided it’s time to stick to dry land for a while, perhaps head south for 25 minutes or so to get to the citadel of Castelsardo.
