As Lombardy locations go, this one is a particularly splendid one, right on the shores of Lake Garda and a couple of kilometres from Moniga del Garda. Fab views are part of the offering here, but guests at Sivinos Camping Boutique don't have to limit themselves to gazing wistfully over the lake, as there's direct access to the water and a whopping five-kilometre stretch of beach. Guests who manage to drag themselves away from the scenery and swims should also find this site to be handily located too: a gentle half-hour lakeside stroll gets you to Moniga del Garda for plenty of shops and restaurants. For more of an urban day out, the city of Brescia is around a 45-minute drive away and Verona, Cremona and Venice are all within easy reach too. There’s a whole heap of activities to keep guests occupied around these parts, including watersports, horse riding, boat trips and bike rides. The region also is home to lots of scenic villages looking out onto the lake, as well as local wineries (tasting strongly encouraged). Foodwise, you can head to Sivinos Camping Boutique's pizzeria, rustle up your own grub (barbecues are permitted) or head out to Moniga del Garda to try some local fare. No need to leave base if you need to stock up on essentials: there's a handy food shop on site.

Liked Everything.. the proximity to the beautiful lake, the lovely outdoor restaurant, the cleanliness, every one was friendly and the pitches are a great size. We had lots of space both sides of our van. Would recommend and would book again

Disliked Only that dogs aren’t supposed to swim between 9 and 7… given that there is ducks in the lake it’s not unhygienic to let the dogs have fun and cool down

Disliked The camping was overload And pitches was not organized. I mean during our holiday we have move with the van while the neighbour left the pitch.

Liked Position next to lake Garda, the facilities were clean and modern. Lots of washing up spots.

Disliked Pitches fairly small and not level.
No facilities such as table tennis.

Liked So ein schöner und überschaubarer Platz. An der Rezeption waren alle sehr freundlich. Zugang zum Strand in wenigen Sekunden erreichbar.Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber und ausreichend vorhanden. Wir waren mit dem Hund da und es gab ein Willkommenesgeschenk (Leckerlie und Kotbeutel) Man kann super mit dem Hund spazieren gehen und der Hund darf auch ins Wasser. Das Restaurant ist einfach der Hammer… Essen sehr lecker und alle sehr freundlich.

Liked Schöner Stellplatz mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Ausreichende Größe mit allem, was man braucht. Strom, Wasser, aber- und Entsorgungsmöglichkeit.
Niedlicher kleiner Campingplatz, auf dem auch einige Glampingzelte stehen. Direkte Seelage!

Disliked Etwas abseits vom Geschehen. Zu Fuß sehr schwierig.

Local attractions

Lake Garda is a marvellous sight, and where better to take in its splendid vistas than from the shores of a private island? Isola del Garda, open between March and October, can be reached only by boat (regular services leave 20 minutes' drive away from base). The crossing is scenic in itself, but once ashore there's an elegant neo-gothic villa to explore. If Isola del Garda's early 20th-century architecture inspires you, continue on to Vittoriale d’Italia (half an hour) and its Art Deco house and gardens. For a kid-pleasing jaunt, Gardaland (35 minutes) has a smashing theme park and aquarium. If you fancy keeping things classy (and why not – this site is called 'boutique' for a reason), there's a golf course 10 minutes away and Avanzi winery (10 minutes' drive) organises regular tastings and tours to see the wine barrels that are stored in old underground tunnels. Outside the immediate local area, swing by Sirmione, a town perched on a lakeside peninsula (don't miss the castle ramparts that extend out into the water). Beyond the lakes, Verona is 50 minutes away by road, and pleasant little Cremona is an hour. Venice is a little further afield at an hour and 45 minutes.
