Liked: The afternoon lady at reception was very nice

Disliked: This camp site is not fit for people to stay at, it is foul!!! The toilets are so bad I washed my self out side my hut with a bottle of water, upon arrive our room hadn’t even been cleaned for the last people staying there, there were stains on the pillows and bed sheets and rubbish left on the floor. Went to speak to reception about these issues and the man told me there was nothing that could be done, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Shuttle bus was poorly explained and dropped us off at a train station and told us to get out. Please if your looking for somewhere to stay for cheap near Rome DO NOT STAY HERE.

From the manager: Dear Guest, we're sorry you had such a bad experience , but there are a few things we need to make clear. We have over 400 beds in our Camping Village and we're mostly full all the time, so if it was like you say, we'd be empty. If you had any problem you should have come to the reception, where we would assisted you. You say that the lady at the reception was nice bt then you say that you got poor explanation for the shuttle bus. Then you talk about the man that didn't want to help you, but he works from 11pm to 7am,for the night shift ... you're a bit confused, but we're sorry anyway

Liked: The Greenery The receptionist was friendly. Ablutions were clean upon arrival

Disliked: That the environment is unkept - however has potential if regularly maintained. Be aware that reception is at the bottom of the "village" follow the arrows. The "village" entrance and other open spaces are used for parking due to it being opposite a sports bar and field - which makes the stay noisy when they are all done visiting the field. Ablutions are also used by the field visitors. -Bring along Mosquito repellent

Liked: The trees and greenery, the little animal farm, the very helpful receptionist, the coach to the train station to then go into Rome.

Disliked: The unkempt site, it all was a little grubby. I do t know if it is like this all year round as we were there end of April, so right at the beginning of the season

Recommend to friends Visit again

Local attractions

Hail the regular shuttle bus from Seven Hills Village for a teeny sum to be set down at La Giustiniana station, a 20-minute subway ride to the Vatican. From there Rome awaits: mosey along to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and St Peter's Basilica, or just amble around the ancient streets and squares among the old architecture and green public parks. Arty sorts should most certainly check out the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, the MAXXI museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art; if your appreciation of beauty tends to be more fashion-based, take your euros and your clothing taste to the swish boutiques of the Via dei Condotti. Outside the city, it's about 35 minutes' drive (or a bus ride from the metro station) to the vast waters of famed Lake Bracciano, one of the biggest lakes in Italy. There's the ancient town and the medieval castle of Orsini-Odescalchi to potter around in the lake vicinity, but if you'd rather get out onto the water, sailing, swimming, diving and canoeing are all available.
