Liked: Upon arrival this site looked great and very welcoming. The pitch was great lots of room for us The layout of the site was very good, great grass coverage underfoot, good privacy, electric hook up. The wash block was very modern and very clean ..big tick for us. Hot water, shower cubicles, separate toilets, wash area for washing up. The restaurant was fantastic the food was great, wide choice on the menu reasonably priced too and plentyful, wine list was good and we both enjoyed the cocktails!!!!! The staff we very very happy and obliging too. To be honest we couldn't fault this site. Can't wait to go back next year

Liked: Lovely campsite. Very clean and well maintained facilities. Helpful staff and we absolutely loved dog park. We only stayed one night but it was a great experience. We also ate in a restaurant and again great experience, really nice freshly made food and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back.

Liked: What an absolute little gem of a site. Just wanted somewhere near enogh Calais ready for an early ferry. Its half an hour away on quiet roads. A great warm welcome from all staff. The restaurant was a great end to our holiday. The food was excellent. Toilets, washing and shower facilities superb, even had a hairdryer. Will definitely recommend and will use on our next trip to France.

Local attractions

The site is on the edge of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Natural Regional Park, a popular local spot for walks and bike rides; more of the same, as well as wildlife watching in scenic surrounds, is at the Canche Bay Nature Reserve to the park's south. The medieval town of Ardres a few minutes' drive away is a must-see in this part of Pas-de-Calais – and a popular destination for holidaymakers on weekend breaks from Britain. Carve out time for the ancient and award-winning Thursday morning market, the bird sanctuary and the garden of the Maison de la Nature at the very least… and make it a mission to find the town bakery and patisserie too. From Ardres, follow the canal (starting from Calais harbour) along to Saint-Omer and the nearby World War II bunker Blockhaus of Éperlecques and its museum, or further along to Lille, an hour and 25 minutes' drive from the site.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
