On land or on water, on site or in the surroundings, get ready to get busy at Camping Club l'Air Marin. Set in Languedoc-Roussillon's Vias Plage a kilometre from sandy Mediterranean beaches, this big and family-friendly site is also on the banks of the Canal du Midi, the 241-kilometre canal running from the Garonne river to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean. Fishing is available in the canal just by the site; a cycle route starts outside; Vias Plage has horse riding, go-karting, a theme park and watersports, and golf, snorkelling and a waterpark can be found five kilometres away at Cap d'Agde. Montpellier is a 30-kilometre drive away. Camping Club l'Air Marin welcomes families and couples, and has stacks of facilities set up for all ages, including an outdoor pool with slide, a paddling pool, heated indoor pool, tennis court, table tennis, multisports ground, pétanque court, gym and outdoor fitness area. A bar-restaurant, mini market and takeaway are open in summer. The site also has wifi throughout, a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, and washrooms designed for adults and kids. In high season, the kids' club runs activities and entertainment and the bar-restaurant puts on shows and events.

Liked Grosse Parkanlage, viele Bäume, teils tolle Plätze, insgesamt ordentliche Sanitäranlagen und Abwaschmöglichkeiten.

Disliked Das Publikum vor Ort ist wenig rücksichtsvoll, dieser Platz ist bis weit über Mitternacht sehr laut. Party und Animation gehören zum Angebot, der Pool ist überfüllt. Personal im Restaurant und Snackbar verstehen nicht, was Dienstleistung bedeutet.

Liked Pool, entertainment, shady pitches, close to beach, shop bar, restaurants

Disliked The entertainment was really fun and we enjoyed it however sometimes the entertainment went on until midnight which was too late for us as it was impossible for little ones to sleep as was very loud.

Liked Nice pool and the staff were all very good. Lots to do and beach is close by

Disliked Very noisy at night from the fair or other sites etc nearby. The pitches are also quite tight to get on with a caravan

Liked Eigenlijk alles, het is een hele leuke camping. Mooie ruime plaatsen en veel begroeiing. Genoeg te doen voor jong en oud.
Vooral het personeel van het restaurant/bar was geweldig. Altijd vrolijk en brachten veel gezelligheid en sfeer.

Disliked De wc's zijn gemengd, het zou fijn zijn als mannen en vrouwen gescheiden naar de wc kunnen en ook zo met douchen.

Dommage début août , plus la même clientèle , bordel dans les douches , des jeunes qui font leurs besoins dans les douches !!! Mais c’est partout pareil

le jeu des serviettes top!!!!! le restaurant rapport qualité prix
pas obliger de prendre son véhicule pour se rendre a la plage ou en ville

Disliked fermeture de la supérette a 19h00 , l eau des bac a vaisselle pas très chaude , parfois la propreté des sanitaires n 'est pas top , certains emplacements pour caravanes sont un peu juste

Liked Space of pitch and the part of the campsite we were located on. Lots of showers , restaurant on site and friendly staff. A good sized pool with plenty of beds.

Disliked Distance from the beach and local restaurants- needed a bike .

Disliked Loud site, very noisy staff and other holiday makers. Show no respect, no sort of entertainment on an evening. All staff came across rude and abrupt

Local attractions

This is a spectacularly set site, close to the golden sands of Vias Plage and right next to the Canal du Midi for fishing and canalside bike rides and walks. Watersports including paddleboarding and waterskiing are available in Vias Plage, along with horse riding, miniature golf, go-karting and the Europark theme park: see if your nerves can withstand the extreme rides and looping rollercoaster. At Cap d'Agde five kilometres away, you can dive into more watersports with a spot of snorkelling and scuba diving; tee off at the 18-hole golf course, or splash around the Aqualand waterpark, Europe's first. Animal-spotting options can be had at the Val d'Hérault Zoo in St Thibéry, 20 kilometres away, and at the African Reserve animal park, Sigean, a 25-kilometre drive from the site. The Mare Nostrum aquarium in Montpellier is 30 kilometres away. For some spectacular natural scenery, the Gorges de l'Hérault are within 45 kilometres.
