Liked: Proximity to quiet sandy beach, large informal pitches, plenty of shade, clean facilities( if a little dated), lovely owner who speaks English. Possible to leave early for ferries. Daily bread and croissant service.

Disliked: A bit messy looking with unused cars and caravans across the site. No hosepipe to clean out toilet cartridge( used our own bucket). No hot water to wash dishes.

Liked: Rustic charm, fantastic location right on the beach. Two restaurants close to the site 10 mins walk down beach. Clean, basic facilities. Good drive over grey waste and elsan. Lovely friendly staff.

Liked: We could put our Campervan anywhere. Also liked the croissants in the morning. The beach so close was wonderful, we swam in the evening and the morning.

Disliked: The facilities were clean but a bit old.

Liked: We had a very pleasant stay at Europa. The camp was bigger than we expected and might get quite busy in high season. During our stay in June it was busy but not overcrowded. The facilities overall were excellent and the staff were helpful. We loved the fact that there was a well stocked supermarket on the doorstep.

Disliked: We were slightly disappointed that the river and lake, as advertised in the description, were either not accessible (river) or not found (lake).

Local attractions

An equestrian centre and tennis courts lie 500 metres from base. Walks are easy to access from the site too; for hikes further afield, you can reach the forested slopes and winding river valleys of Castagniccia in about 40 minutes by car. As well as 40 per cent of the island being covered in the Corsica Regional Nature Park, there's history aplenty to be found among its archaeological sites and museums: travel across the island and have a wander around the museums in Corte, Bastia, and Ajaccio to learn about the history of the island and one of its most famed former residents, a certain N Bonaparte. A short drive north along the coast will take you to the spectacularly characterful old port town of Bastia; in addition to moseying around the port, make sure you visit the vibrant neighbourhoods of Terra Vecchia and Terra Nova to explore their historic streets and neat little boutiques.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 30 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. between 01/05 and 10/10.
Reception is unmanned after 10 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/05 and 30/09.
