Brittany beach, anyone? It's oui, oui and yet another oui with this Morbihan site. Sort a stay forthwith at Camping La Ferme de Lann Hoëdic, less than a kilometre from the beach of Le Roaliguen, in a green and spacious countryside setting surrounded by hiking and cycling trails. The staff's aim of the game here is to provide a place where guests can have a comfy stay on a friendly site in a calm natural setting. Have a peaceful time by hiring a bike from the team and pedalling off to explore the region and its islands, and enjoy a relaxing meal in the restaurant on your return. La Ferme de Lann Hoëdic is on the Rhuys peninsula, between the Atlantic coast and the town of Sarzeau two and a half kilometres away. It's 800 metres from the beach and its associated sailing school, and a short drive from Aquagolfe waterpark, Penvins aerial adventure park, and sea kayaking at Kerners and Logeo. Carnac is less than 50 minutes' drive away. A mini farm is on site to entertain the kids, along with a pétanque court and a big play area with giant jumping pillow. Grownups can sink into sessions at the spa or settle down for a massage, all the better to be good as new for a spot of windsurfing or a bike tour the next day…

Liked Bonjour, dans l’ensemble ça va. Les emplacements sont corrects mais nous n’avons trouvé que les toilettes étaient sales sans papier toilette, pas très pratique quand on est pas prévenu. Sinon bonne orientation pas très loin de la plage.

Liked Lovely site, great staff, great playpark, lots to do in the area and lots of tips shared by staff. Beach is a short walk away and lovely, pitch sizes were good and nicely spread out too.

Disliked Tight corners to turn with a caravan to access pitches

Liked General campsite. Trees. Cafe and galettes were surprisingly good.9 out of 10.
Access to coast and walks.
Library good quiet space with some books. Though mostly in French understandably.

Disliked We had no choice on pitch,-hard baked mud dead grass. Cramped not suitable for mid size tent with guy ropes. Were later offered another slightly better space but didn’t think it was worth it after already spending 2 hrs setting up camp at our age 70s.
Pitches were not equal.
Most people on site were polite and considerate but we had
. One side noisy person hysterically laughing after 10.00 onwards. Definitely not the children’s fault and we dint want to spoil their holiday by complaining
No fridge or freezer facilities For campers.
Animals lovely but need bigger greener spaces.
Didn’t use WIFi as only free for 15 mins.
It’s free at most other campsites.

Liked Location, cleanliness, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We liked all the recycling facilities like the compost bins and feeding the animals.
Generally it was very quiet after 10.
Good walks from the site. Interesting part of the country.walks, history,boats, and soft sandy beaches.

Disliked Very late arrivals, we were disturbed by bright headlights moving in nearby after 11pm one night 😕 the rules are quite clear about times of quiet and where to park if you arrive after 11pm.
One set of noisy neighbours,whom we asked to be quiet on 2 nights.
WiFi is not available on site, just at the cafe and it's not free!
Showers lack pressure and heat! Cubicles are very cramped and there are not enough hooks, everything gets wet.

Liked Quiet well kept peaceful site. Pitch was spacious, small shop and restaurant cant comment on restaurant as we did not use it.

Disliked Mixed toilet block and showers disliked that there are no toilet seats and toilet paper, (however the facilities were cleaned regularly) showers didn't stay on very long so had to hold button down to get a decent shower.

We extended our stay by 3 days because it was so good

Local attractions

This is a very pretty part of southern Brittany, and the site is well placed for boat trips around the Gulf of Morbihan, perhaps to Belle-Île-en-Mer and Houat. On land, one of the most famed sights on the peninsula is the Château de Suscinio, a medieval castle that was home during the Wars of the Roses to the future English Henry 7. Guided tours of the château are available in English during the summer months, and there's a wildlife-rich marsh area for the birdwatchers too. For family fun and highly amusing days, have a splash around the Aquagolfe waterpark, 20 minutes' drive from the site at Surzur. There's also the Celt'Aventures aerial adventure park of Penvins, within 15 minutes' drive, where the brave can take forest and treetop trails among fairies, elves and druids. The Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys golf course is 15 minutes' drive away.
