Liked: Pitch was good and the pool looked lovely, although we didn't have time to use it.

Disliked: Only one toilet and one shower were open, main toilet block was closed. No hot water for washing up.

Liked: Not one like

Disliked: After many years of travelling never stayed any where as bad no toilets just 2 urinals. Every thing locked up shower locked up. Spoke to us on way in avoided us on way out. Place was a tip filthy full travellers. Very bad experience. Don’t go there

From the manager: Hello, It's very incredible how by just staying one night you could have judged us so badly. Yes, we have toilets.... It's terrible that you make your opinion without taking time to see the things and get to know them. Bye

Local attractions

Coming to the area to enjoy lots of lovely fresh air? The folk on site can point you towards good places to go for a walk or bike ride, and there’s also horse riding (15 minutes’ drive), a sailing school/watersports centre at Lake Biscarrosse (10 minutes) and treetop trails at Landes Adventure Park (10 minutes). Over at the coast, Mimizan (15 minutes) has surf schools and a golf course – although you may well simply choose to relax on the gorgeous sandy beach there, perhaps stirring yourself occasionally for a paddle or a swim. There are lots of other lovely beaches around too – and the extraordinary sight of the Dune du Pilat (50 minutes), the tallest dune in Europe. Time for some relaxation? Head to Dax (an hour), a spa resort with several thermal baths where the water is said to have healing properties.
