  • Remote and peaceful pop-up site with views of the Cleddau estuary
  • A 10-minute drive to the popular surfing spot of Freshwater West beach
  • Next to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path; barbecues and firepits welcome
Well, isn’t this a site for sore eyes? Right next to the river Cleddau estuary and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this pop-up spot on a family-run working farm not only has a vista towards Pembroke Castle, but is also in a prime spot for walkers who wish to walk the highly scenic long-distance route between St Dogmaels and Amroth. Cyclists are well sorted here too, as the site is a short drive from the bike route for IRONMAN Wales. Birdwatching around the Cleddau estuary when the tide is out is a peaceful way to spend your time. This back-to-nature park allows barbecues and firepits too, and there won’t be any distracting you with frilly facilities, save access to fresh water and toilets with a shower built into a simple extension on the farmhouse. As well as having a chilled atmosphere and plenty of nature around, the site is also well-placed. It's only a 15-minute drive from Angle village, where there are two pubs and a popular family beach and café. The seaside town of Tenby is half an hour's drive away from base.

Local attractions

Parked in a prime locale right on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this is a walkers’ paradise and spectacularly scenic walks either way towards St Dogmaels in the north or Amroth in the south are accessible directly from lovely Lambeeth Farm. Freshwater West beach, just under five miles away, is particularly popular for surfing, canoeing and sea angling; wide, sandy and backed by an extensive dune network, this beach is famed for having the best surf in the county, and is a fun spot to check out for both participants and spectators. For more walking plus a good helping of nature spotting and birdwatching, head around nine miles from base and you’ll come across the beaut sands of Barafundle beach and Bosherston Lily Ponds, where you can explore a level and easy gravel walking trail that runs behind Broadhaven beach around the wildlife-filled dunes and pools of the Mere Pool Valley. History buffs who wish to delve into Pembrokeshire history will find plenty of info over at Pembroke Castle and the castles of Carew and Manorbier, all within half an hour’s drive of Lambeeth.
