  • Hugely spacious site set over 10 acres of woodland and meadows
  • Under 10 minutes' drive from Amroth and 25 to Tenby
  • Large meadow area, picnic bench and firepit exclusive to each pitch
Is Coastal Meadows in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park one of the most spacious sites in the country? It could be so, for it has just a handful of pitches over a whopping 10 acres, each set in big meadows with woodland/field views and filled with wild grasses and colourful wildflowers. This could be a place to hide… Each pitch at Coastal Meadows can take any size of tent or a small campervan, and comes with its own canvas shelter (shelved, handily) big enough to be used as an undercover shaded area for the pitch picnic bench; you'll also have a water carrier, washing-up bowl, chopping board and a lockable box with axe. What to use the axe for? Wood from 'The Old Wood Store' on site, to blaze up at each pitch's dedicated firepit. Amenities at this incredibly spacious site include the aforementioned wood store, the 'Diddly Little Shop' and laundry facilities. There's also a play area for the kids, just in case their share of the 10 acres isn't quite enough...

Local attractions

There’s all the space at Coastal Meadows – and then it's just a short drive to some of the most scenic and sandy beaches in the land: eight award-winners within 10 miles, in fact. Both Amroth and Pendine are a couple of miles away and Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot and Tenby are within half an hour. Townwise, take to nearby Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth and Laugharne for fishing, boat trips, and dolphin spotting. Hikes along the Pembrokeshire coast path and the Carmarthenshire Coastal Path are close to Coastal Meadows, as is the National Cycle Route 4 from London to Fishguard. Amroth's Colby Woodland Garden is a good option for greenery, and Barafundle Bay, part of the Stackpole Estate, is the place to go for wildlife. Kidswise? Coastal Meadows is close to several Welsh family days out such as Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Manor House Zoo and Heatherton World of Activities.
