Liked: Lovely site very quiet for June. Didn't do evening meals through the week which was a shame. Toilets were very clean everyday but cold as the windows were wide open and couldn't be reached to close. Pool and spa facilities are very nice.

Liked: Very quite and relaxing area with excellent facilities! A restaurant and spa facilities on site which is very relaxing !! And local pub just five minutes away!

Disliked: The only dislike really was the hair dryer in the toilets was pay as you go ? But every campsite we have been on it’s always been free and because we are a nation of card only payment now with mobile as well !! to have real money is very rare so had to go back to motor home to dry our hair ! I know nightmare Ha ha !

Local attractions

You’ll want to start with a stroll around Cenarth, of course – those waterfalls are a 10-minute walk away, and the Teifi river is an excellent place for an amble, particularly when the salmon are jumping in late summer. It’s worth stopping in at the village’s National Coracle Centre to learn a bit about the traditional round boats, and taking the 10-minute drive to Caws Cenarth to sample the tasty local cheese. Cenarth’s also a handy location for outings to the coast – try Cardigan (15 minutes’ drive) for dolphin-spotting trips, or Aberporth (20 minutes) for beach days – or walks in the Preseli Hills, around 15 minutes away by car. Cilgerran Castle (15 minutes), the National Trust estate at Llanerchaeron (35 minutes) and the tiny city of St Davids (an hour) also make excellent days out. And if you’ve got the kids along, it’s quite possible (and reasonable) that they’ll be keen to add to the schedule days at Oakwood theme park and meeting the only giraffes in Wales at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (both around 45 minutes’ drive).
