Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite

Liked: very friendly owners

Disliked: the camp site was the parking area which backed onto the motorway above and there was road noise most of the night. I was not warned that you needed 20p pieces to use the shower so couldnt shower.

Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite

Liked: Country setting. Close to motorway.

Disliked: Site next to chickens and pidgeons, no gray water drain, one single shared toilet with lowest pedestal I have seen. Toilet next to horse stables. Shower on alternative site down narrow lane. Uneven ground on which peices of fake grass are laid.,is dangerous, my wife having stepped in a hidden dip and fell backwards, full onto her back. Individual units 4feet from each other, fire hazzard and lacks privacy. Provided fire pit and logs far too close for safety.

Liked: Super location just off the M4. It’s a farmyard/land area with horses and chickens. There are 2 hard standing pitches in the corner of the yard and a camping field. Outside toilet. No showers or kitchen facilities but we didn’t need in a campervan. Owner said the kids could collect eggs in The morning for breakfast. There are some Lovely walks round here but we didn’t venture far as only a stopover.

Disliked: It’s not fully set up as a campervan or camping facility. The owners said they were working on it but if you need a stop over on a long journey and can provide for yourselves it’s good enough. On that basis the price is prob a bit steep given the lack of facilities so far.

Liked: Fire pit area, but only if you get the spot next to it.

Disliked: Shower was a short walk down the road and had to wait as there's one very small cubicle for both sites. Very close to others. Situated at Crystal Stables not Northern Hay!
