What customers say

Great spot for mountain biking & hiking, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Some found pitches uneven & close together, more like a car park than a campsite. Shower access limited outside cafe hours. Good for outdoor folks needing a convenient base.

Powered gravel RV campsite

Liked Great centre facilities very clean and warm would go again

Disliked We were close to the road so you had to be very careful with the dog, not ideal if you had small children, would have not been as comfortable if I was on my own as a mature female

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Absolutely stunning views from the campsite. You can choose to camp where you want on the field. Great location for walks on the forest and we went to nearby beach.

Disliked Toilets a bit far from the camp down hill which of course means up hill on way back but your paying £14 a night and they facilities and spotless.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Lovely set up and idea. Exactly like wild camping really. Clean toilet/shower facilities. Lovely walking trails all around. Good price also.

Disliked The actual tent pitch up area is on a rather large incline. Didn't get any sleep as I spent the night pulling kids back up into the tent as we were all rolling down the hill.
The other downside is the cafe. Even though it's clean and the food was nice, it is very expensive for the small meal you get.

Powered gravel RV campsite

Liked Good showers (£1.50 each but they were clean and you got five minutes of warm, good pressure), excellent location for walks. Expensive cafe, but the food was excellent.

Disliked The motorhome pitches are right next to the main road

Powered gravel RV campsite

Liked Location was great. Lots of outdoor stuff to do. Cafe very nice (not cheap) facilities very good and ease of use. Would 100% stay again.

Disliked Anyone could park on electric hook up and plug in so if you get there, someone could be parked there. There needs to be a better and more secure way of using the electric. There was road noise but in fareness that did not bother me at all

Primitive gravel RV campsite

Liked Reasonably priced, great range of walks on your doorstop, good facilities for toilets, washing up and showers.

Disliked Basically a car park on the side of a road with an open entrance to anyone at any time of day or night.
