  • Peaceful CAMC members-only site on a sheep farm in Eryri National Park
  • Llyn Tegid 15 minutes’ drive; King Arthur’s Labyrinth 25 minutes
  • Dog-friendly riverside pitches; spotless facilities in a stone barn
Caravan and Motorhome Club member and looking for a small and peaceful site in Eryri (formerly Snowdonia) National Park? They’ve got you covered at Tŷ Cerrig Certificated Location, set on a third-generation family-run sheep farm five minutes’ drive from the tiny hamlet of Rhydymain, and they’ve thrown in spectacular views of forest and mountains for good measure too. You have a choice of neatly maintained riverside pitches, all of which have electric hook-ups, drinking water and wifi. A track leads to a smartly converted stone barn with pristine toilet and shower facilities. The site sits alongside the Afon (river) Tŷ Cerrig, and you can exercise your canine chums on numerous walks directly into the countryside. It’s easy to access thanks to its proximity to the A494, and is positioned between Bala and Dolgellau (both 15 minutes’ drive), historic market towns rich in charm and leisure opportunities as well as having a few shops, cafés, pubs and takeaways.

What customers say

This peaceful, small sheep farm campsite offers stunning valley views with a stream. Guests rave about the friendly owners, clean facilities (kitchen, washrooms), and convenient hookups. Great for walks & day trips. The single washroom wasn't an issue for most.

Liked Spotless sight. Friendly helpful owners. Ample waste and recycling facilities. Leveling blocks and rubbers mats available. Kitchen area incredible. Only one toilet & shower and at peak times can have a wait, not long as everyone was mindful during our stay. Owners are looking to expand on this and hearing the passion and thoughts on how to develop and improve is inspiring. They really do care.
Wifi available.
Location is good, bus stop a short walk away with bus running every two hours.
Lovely walks a 10 minute drive away.
Peaceful nights stay. Felt safe, cctv onsite.

Thank you for welcoming us. We enjoyed our stay

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (members only)

Liked Rhys the owner was very friendly and helped us find things to do in the area.
Great kitchen with spaces for washing up, cooking and doing laundry.
Clean and warm bathroom/shower.
There’s a bus route to Barmouth which can be very convenient especially in the busier months.
We loved watching the baby lambs play around from our window.
Site is very well taken care of.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (members only)

Liked Fantastic place with beautiful scenery. Little brook/river runs down the side of the road given calming vibes. Host extremely friendly and accommodating providing Superb and clean amenities. Full farmhouse kitchen with Arga cooker, washing machine, coffee machine and a lot more…. Chickens and sheep as your neighbours what more could you ask for in such a calming environment. Was offered wifi. Many thanks for the use of your cable and stay.

Disliked But a dislike as the bloke is beautifully kept but must note Only one shower and toilet. Didn’t bother us as we had are own in the motorhome.
