Oak Woodland primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked: Really friendly staff and great pitches! Really dog friendly. Good fire provisions (fire pit & wood for sale on site) Clean and tidy, good showering/washing facilities on site. The showers were warm and consistent. Great little shop for bits I forgot, coffee in the morning and some delicious Thai takeaway for when I didn't want to cook. There was also a bar but I didn't use that.
Disliked: Toilets were a bit cramped but hey if you're going for this sort of wild camping experience you know what you're looking at. Maybe give the wheelbarrows a little bit of maintenance.

Liked: This site was perfect for our stay. Our pitch was everything we wanted, private enough to feel as though we were just out in the woods but also with other pitches being near by. The facilities were great, nice hot showers. Host was very friendly and happy to help. There is also a great walk nearby along the estuary! We also saw so much wildlife here - it made a great “switch off” break

Liked: Absolutely brilliant, would highly recommend, excellent friendly staff (Adrian Natalie Vaughan) very peaceful great for walks with beautiful views, initially booked for 3 nights but stayed extra as it was stunning, great facilities on site especially the Thai food which is freshly made and delivered to you, the Thai Green Curry is a must , we took our 3 dogs who loved being there, would definitely be booking again and can't wait to be back there. We'll done to everyone there for making our stay so enjoyable.
Disliked: Nothing.

Wooded primitive earth campervan campsite
Liked: We’d paid extra for a wooded pitch with space for our gazebo which was well worth the money. Our pitch was great, lots of space and freedom for the children. The downside to this was the campsite amenities were a trek away but this didn’t bother us at all. The owners were very accommodating and welcoming, and always available if needed. The amenities were of a good standard and well maintained, cleaned regularly, and the showers were hot! We washed up by the pitch but there were washing up facilities inside. Also a well stocked little shop. Provisions and firewood were fair prices. The whole area was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by fields, forests and mountains. There was no phone/internet signal by pitches but there was a code to join wifi up at the site amenities. This was perfect for us but if you want connectivity at all times then this probably isn’t the site for you.
