When you can’t decide whether you want a Welsh beach holiday or an outdoor-adventure experience, make a beeline for Dinlle Caravan Park, sandwiched neatly between the scenic North Wales coast and the peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. And if you’ve got a keen history fan in your party, the site has got them covered too, as it’s only 10 minutes by car from mighty Caernarfon Castle.
Even if your dream is simply to slope around on the neatly maintained site for a few days, Dinlle has plenty to offer. You can hone your fitness regime in the gym and take refreshing dips in the outdoor pool. Elsewhere, challenge the kids to darts in the games room, or go sea fishing off Dinas Dinlle beach (five minutes’ stroll), where there are also facilities for dinghy and kayak hire. And if you need a pick-me-up at the end of an active day, head for the clubhouse bar for a spot of night-time socialising.
Dogs are more than welcome at this quiet, manicured site planted with wildflowers; you can exercise them on the beach (there are some signposted restrictions in summer), or take them on long hikes in the national park.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- Reception is unmanned after 4 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- The park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Electricity is metered on site at £0.35 per kWh and must be paid onsite using the app.
