Liked: Everything, this really is a special place, very well planned and landscaped to give it a natural woodland/lakeside setting, peaceful, and dark, immaculate showers, recycling, toilets, waste, pot wash, owners really friendly, honesty box shop and fire pit, tidy and spacious pitches, good size, lovely off lead dog run, delicious pizza night

Liked: Took a female friend for the weekend- we loved the tranquillity and the natural beauty that the campsite has enhanced! No excessive signage saying what you can and can’t do, just respectful adults respecting a rustic, well managed, beautiful site.

Disliked: The fact I doubt it will ever be free to rebook as it’s such a gem!

Liked: EVERYTHING!! Lovely site with sectioned off areas and large pitches. We had our camper van with awning and still plenty of space between us and the other visitors. We were surrounded by trees and only 4 pitches on the section we were on. Its a very tranquil spot, beautifully maintained and lots of quirky things to see around the site. If you like Pizza then pizza night is an absolute must and the communal seating area for this is stunning. Add to all the above the owners are very friendly and welcoming, their love and pride for the place shines through. We had a lovely few days stay and will be returning again.

Disliked: Even the harshest of critic would struggle to find a fault here. Not really a dislike, the pitches were very hard so strong tent pegs are required if putting down an awning.

Liked: Everything. Great staff and facilities, the woodland walk (with swing) was incredible. All the little touches like cobbles used as the flooring in the showers, kettles turned into lamps gave it a lovely eco-vibe. Amazing walks from the campsite too. Loved it all!

Liked: A lovely wooded site, with gorgeous ferns and wild flowers. Immaculate toilet and shower block. Good sized pitches with electric hook up and water tap near by. Owners very helpful and pleasant. Good Wi-fi connection.
