Liked: Hosts were lovely. Super friendly and had a great spot for camping. It was quiet when we were there, but they said how they never overcrowd the site. Toilet Facilities were clean. The whole area had a big water leak when we went, but the hosts were really kind and offered us bottled water on arrival and even gave us some of their eggs fresh from the hens as an apology. If you time it right you can also see the farmer across the road herd and move the sheep in the morning 😊

Liked: Peace and quiet
Disliked: Toilet block needs further work ie paper towel dispenser, walls need sealing at the top and around the bottom where the soil pipes go through so you can't hear others on the toilet in the next cubicles

There is a shower, and toilet and a washing sink for washing up. there is a drinking water tap. dog friendly and also allow camp fires and provide paving slabs to protect there grass. They have recycling bins for your rubbish which are emptied often and it’s just an overall lovely place!

Liked: Great communication with the site owners, quick to respond to my email after I'd accidentally booked the wrong type of pitch. Also accepted us onto the site early after I'd mixed up the arrival times with another booking we have in a few weeks time. (Tired teacher vibes.) Great facilities, which were cleaned multiple times in the day! Loved the slab idea for the fire pit and getting to say hello to the animals in a morning. :) Thank you for having us to stay, such a beautiful location.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the site or the owners... just unfortunate to have pitched at the same time as a rather angry family that thought shouting was the answer to everything.

Liked: Myself and my partner with my 2 11 year old girls had 3 nights here over the weekend. It was one of our favourite ever camping trips. The site is so lovely, surrounded by their own farm animals and the owner even brought out a tiny baby goat that was only a few days old for our girls to see. The views are amazing there too and the site has clean toilets and shower blocks. Lovely owners and lovely site. Would definitely recommend.
