Liked: Scenic and quiet location. Only a short drive into Welshpool which is a great little town with plenty of amenities and independent shops. Owners were super friendly with plenty of information about the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Liked: Excellent site, lovely welcome when arrived. All the facilities are clean and well kept. Local pub (The Punch Bowl) is brilliant - great gaffer and the food delicious, all within 15 minute walk (20 on the way back :) ) A great weekend had. The food at the Admiral Rodney also excellent with a lovely landlord and there's a Chinese takeaway in Llandrinio which is delicious - yes we like our food!

Liked: Great campsite in a great location. Clean toilets and shower. Will definitely come back again. Close to welshpool & Oswestry. Highly recommend a walk up to admiral Rodney's Pillar. Host was welcoming and always keeping the site very clean and tidy. Site is very dog friendly with close walks nearby for dogs and well behaved owners.
Disliked: Would like a extra shower but that is being picky and quality is better than quantity.

Liked: The site was so clean (a little soggy due to the rain but we knew this on arrival as had an email from the owners stating we could rebook) On arrival we were met by Ann and Andy (the owners) who helped to tow our caravan on in a great spot, with 360 degree fabulous views, of fields with sheep and Rodney’s pillar. We were offered to feed the baby lambs which my daughter absolutely loved, and she also loved Joe (the dad sheep). The facilities were rustic but modern, and were pristine. The showers were lovely and hot, with great use of the space. There was an indoor and outdoor washing up area, and lots of local information provided. Ann and Andy were great hosts who left you to it, but were around if needed for anything! The site is a great base with loads of walks near by or just a short drive away. There is also a pub (free house), with reasonably priced drinks with a great Indian restaurant attached, and is only a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend going here as the food is amazing! We will be back to this site, as we felt very welcome and there are more walks and adventures to be had within this area. See you both soon Ann and Andy, thank you both for everything.
