Liked: Lovely quiet site with very friendly hosts. Very clean shower & toilet facilities. Close to all the lovely beaches of West Wales, easy to find straight off the main road so didn't have to contend with the tiny Welsh roads with a twin axle unit.

Liked: David and Sue were extremely welcoming on arrival and due to an unfortunate cancellation elsewhere we were really pleased they could accommodate us last minute. The site was in an ideal location and had all we needed. The mud wasn't an issue and soon dried out with 3 full days of sun 🌞👍😃. We will be back.

Local attractions

The Ceredigion coastline could keep guests amused for many a day: there are excellent beaches within 15 minutes’ drive in Aberporth, Llangrannog, Mwnt and Tresaith, wildlife-spotting boat trips from Cardigan and more than 60 miles of seaside rambling to be done on the Ceredigion Coast Path. Days of golf, fishing and horse riding can all be had within a half-hour drive, and the area has plenty of fab places to go for a walk – Llys y Fran Country Park, arty Sculptureheaven and Cenarth Falls are all nearby (if you’re visiting the latter, plan some time to swing by the Caws Cenarth farm to see the cheese in production and sample a little taster). Castle visits are often popular picks around these parts, too, so head to Cardigan Castle to see the results of a lengthy restoration project, or to Cilgerran Castle to see the medieval round towers. Other fab days out nearby include the Welsh Wildlife Centre and Dyfed Shire Horse Farm (both 15 minutes away).
