From the manager: Thanks for your review. Our aim is back to basics with no wifi, free to roam, no hassle, very clean site, thanks again.
Nice basic site, but needs a bit more grass maintenance and dog bins!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Friendly welcome. Toilets were nice and clean despite being very basic. Big field for pitching so lots of space. Dog friendly. No rush to leave on the final day meant we could spend more time on the beach! :)
Disliked: Unfortunately the field was really uneven and the grass long. Not ideal for walking/driving across especially in the dark, but we managed. Despite looking well maintained with hardcore to drive on, the track also kept hitting the underside of my 107 in the middle no matter how slow I went. Really needs dog bins at the very least.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. As you should be aware we dont charge for dogs, so is it to much to ask for you to take your dog mess away?? . However thank you for saying were a basic site as thats exactly what we intended and most people liked.

Liked: Nice flat field with really clean facilities. Lovely welcoming owners who made sure we were all okay and prepared for the forecast rain. The field has great drainage so any rain water clears very quickly. Gravel on the track so you can’t get stuck. The campsite is located next to ynslas beach which is dog friendly and not far from Borth, Aberystwyth and other towns. We had two dogs with us and they were also welcomed! The campsite is nice and quiet and out the way but still very close to things. Couldn’t recommend this campsite enough, will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends!

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked: I absolutely loved this site which is in a beautiful and extremely scenic setting. The owners are new to this and have plans to offer more facilities such as showers at the site. Although currently there are only two toilets at the site, they are pristine. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They could not do enough to make sure you had all the information needed to get the best out of the area. There is a beach nearby and the town of Borth is within walking distance. If you are into nature, wildlife and a beautiful scenic setting this is the place for you. I’ve been travelling extensively for four months and I can honestly say this is the best welcome I’ve had.
Disliked: Nothing
