Sunnyside is an award winning Touring and Camping site located on a family run Croft on The Road to the Isles Coastal route between Arisaig and Morar/Mallaig. This West Highland coastal location is the ideal place for a base when exploring the surrounding area and all that it has to offer, or as a stopover when touring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. A newly-built 40-pitch touring site which offers luxury facilities in idyllic surroundings. Beach access from site. Facilities include: - underfloor heating throughout site building - showers - hairdryers - laundry room - disabled shower room - family bathroom for guests with preschool children - covered seating area - reception with shop selling basic provisions, gifts, local/highland produce - dishwashing area - free wifi - local information - inside/outside drying area for clothing, wetsuits - recycling on site For hardstandings, there is a motorhome service point, chemical waste disposal point There are grass pitches for tents with optional electric hookup for every pitch. Washroom facilities, hot water for dishwashing, awning and chemical waste disposal included in the tariff. Pets welcome. We look forward to sharing this special place with you.

Route directions

By road Travel to Fort William then go west taking the A830 'Road to the Isles'. Shortly after passing signs for Arisaig Village, turn left onto the B8008, signposted Bunacaimbe / Back of Keppoch. Follow the coast road for about one mile. Turn left at the signpost for Portnadoran. The entrance to Sunnyside Touring Site is on your left. The distance from Fort William is approximately 36 miles. By rail Trains run direct to Arisaig from Glasgow. The London Sleeper service runs to Fort William with a connecting Scotrail service to Arisaig. The distance from Arisaig Station to Sunnyside is two miles. By sea Caledonian MacBrayne run a ferry service from Armadale on the Isle of Skye and the Small Isles of Muck, Eigg, Rum and Canna. There are also local ferry services running to and from Inverie on the Knoydart Peninsula. The distance from Mallaig Harbour to Sunnyside is seven miles.
