Liked: The view from tent of hill, and trees. The surrounding farmland with cows and sheep. The toilets are really nice. Lots of room to play on grass in front of tent too!

Bankings Field primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Loved everything. The weather was not great - bucketed down on the first night, and yet we had an absolutely wonderful time. The field for tents is well managed with labelled areas, and therefore not overcrowded and every pitch has its own area. Beautiful environment, amazing organic farm shop and cafe, and facilities for campers are basic but clean, just what's needed.
Disliked: It is very popular, so unlikely you'd get a spot on a long weekend when booking impulsively.

Liked: The best 10/10 The location of the bankings was second to none. The views of the nearby hills, the trees full of birds and the wee stream are all gorgeous. Had the pleasure of watching the sunrise on a clear morning. Also at night, thousands of stars shine bright. All the staff we're all really friendly. The area of the business was notably litter free and clean, surprising considering the number of people that it appears to attract. The shop was very well stocked. Not cheap, however very reasonable for the quality you get. Can recommend the organic cider (brewed from their apples) and organic pork sausages. Additionally the toilet facilities we're located next to the shop and we're clean and modern. Nearby there are a number of hills, woodland areas and a couple of towns to see. There's also a chance to spot red squirrels but unfortunately we didn't. Also a weird little tunnel just past Maspieden and rivers and waterways to jump over and enjoy. Camp fires are a welcome sight and required (we stayed at the end of April and the temperature dropped to 1 degree at night) and all other visitors we could see were using them. We loved it and will hopefully be returning in the summer.
Disliked: There's nothing to dislike, just go, you'll love it
