What customers say
This site is a beautiful, tranquil spot with great views, perfect for families and fishing. Pitches are mostly level and tidy, with owners praised for friendliness and helpfulness. While facilities are basic (spotless portaloo, limited waste disposal), many enjoyed the "wild camping" feel and good value. Expansion plans are a plus.

Primitive grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A wonderful , peaceful and tranquil location, overlooking a beautiful fishery. Generous individual space allocated for each tent- pitching plot, and a picnic-table and fire pit for personal use within my plot to use.
The owners were amazing! with great communication, friendly and were so helpful.
Many thanks,

Nice site and we all enjoyed our stay. Will be back
Primitive grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A very relaxed site and was perfect for getting my eldest to learn how to fish using floats, bottom feeds and a spinner.
Will certainly book here again.
Disliked Having one toilet was a bit of an issue.
It would have been good to have gates to the main walk way along the water edge rather than having to enter at the same end gate. Was only an issue when trying to get equipment down to the water edge.
Pegging our tent was difficult as the ground had lots of rocks.

The staff were excellent — they checked in on us regularly and made us feel very welcome. They were also incredibly understanding and supportive when we had an issue with our car tyre. We really appreciated their kindness and help. Thank you for making our first camping trip such a positive experience!
