Liked: Lovely friendly welcome and the main site looked really well laid out and had a great vibe. Showers were best we've ever used on a site. Whilst earned mobile signal was poor we had no issues. Would definitely return as a camper with a tent.
Disliked: Sadly motorhomes are not on the main site but over the road on staggered pitches. We felt a bit out of the main camping experience and so didn't experience the site as campers with tents might.

Liked: The views were beautiful, The toilets were pristine clean, and the shower block was clean. The electric pitches were well spaced. Staff are really friendly, and the field is well maintained, and quite flat.
Disliked: If you are not comfortable around animals, I would advise not to go, We had sheep regularly near our tent, one even jumped onto the bench and had his head in our bag of food, another goat came over at one point and was trying to steal our BBQ cardboard box, and one of the dogs grabbed our wraps out of a bag in our tent. We found it funny, so didn't bother us. No parking next to tent, but it is only a 30 second walk over to the carpark.

Liked: The highland cows!
Disliked: The fact that when we arrived we were told we’d have to park in the car park because there was a gin fest going on and people who’d stayed the previous night had extended their stay. Don’t think this was right as we’d booked a proper pitch weeks ago. Also the fact that the toilets hadn’t been cleaned since the gin fest last night and there were no paper towels left and the toilets were still in a dirty condition.
