Douglasha House Aires has gravel pitches in the grounds of a County Kerry B&B, about 10 minutes’ drive from Killarney. Handy facilities on site include a compost toilet, grey water and chemical disposal area and hoses for filling water tanks. Breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, cereals, yogurts, breads etc.) can be provided in the B&B for an extra cost per person. The B&B also has a toilet and showers (charges apply for use of the latter), both a couple of minutes' walk from the pitches.
Also on site are a play area and a wooded walk where guests can take dogs out for a walk. There are also picnic tables for outdoor meals. A nearby pub serves meals daily – it’s a two-minute drive away or 15 minutes’ walk, and the B&B owners are happy to give you a lift to save you walking along the road. In front of the pub you can also pick up the Fossa Way path for the 45-minute walk to Killarney.
To help you get around, a shuttle bus will leave for the town centre at a fixed time in the morning and evening.
