What customers say

A peaceful, adult-only farm site near Glastonbury with stunning Tor views. Praised for friendly owners, value, and quiet ambiance. Basic but clean facilities. Ideal for exploring Glastonbury and Wells. Can be wet, with basic amenities noted, but a great spot to relax.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite

Liked Didn't require hook-up as solar panels on board.
The pitch was great, able to park with friends, level firm ground. Views across the Somerset Levels to Glastonbury Tor .
Facilities are basic but clean and adequate, this is reflected in the very good value price.

The site is on a gentle slope so level pitches are not plentiful.

Powered grass campsite

Liked The site is adults only. The site stewards are helpful and maintained the site well. The facilities are clean and well kept. The pitches are nicely spaced out without over crowded spaces. The owner is very friendly and met us on arrival. We did not need to contact the owner again throughout our stay but were given the impression that we would be able to if necessary and it would be absolutely no trouble if we did. Overall we felt welcomed and encouraged to return and recommend to others.

Liked Location

Disliked Described as adults only correct but should include behaved. Set up at 4pm then at 5pm moved due to vile mouthed drunken group behind us so did others. Ppl complained nothing was done for whole 3 nights. Loud music and vile language really enjoyed our weekend Not. Site was not monitored ppl driving round at 10 at night for whatever reason not sure. Local attractions

The Somerset Levels and Moors make up one of the largest lowland wetlands in Britain and a visit to the Avalon Marshes Centre and RSPB nature reserves will introduce you to their history and ecology. Time your visit right and you may witness the incredible starling murmurations. If you love shopping you really need to experience the unique mix of retailers in Glastonbury, a town long linked with the mythical and mystical. For a more mainstream selection try Clark’s Village factory shopping outlet. Meanwhile, Cheddar’s the place to shop for cheese (and cider). A classic seaside day out can be had at Weston-super-Mare – sandcastles, fish and chips, donkey rides on the beach, entertainments on the pier, it’s all here. Or if you’d like a different view of the coast, head to Brean Down, a 300ft-high headland that sticks out a mile and a half into the Bristol Channel with a ruined Napoleonic fort at the end.
