Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Amazing, clean and child friendly site. Brian was extremely helpful and friendly- my daughter enjoyed the giant bubbles which he brought out for us to use. Lovely walks on your doorstep and a nice park 10 min walk away along the lake. Toilet and shower facilities clean and tidy. Will be returning in the summer.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Found a little gem of a campsite! Lovely - 6 pitches. Quiet, no mobile signal, clean facilities, hot and powerful showers. The owners are fantastic, providing bubbles for the kids, taking them on quad rides to see the lambs and available if you need anything. They charge £8 for fire wood, kindling, fire lighters and a fire basket. They also provide blocks to put your bbq on, so the grass doesn't get burned. Brian mows the grass everyday and provides fridges and freezers. We can't wait to go back :)

Liked: Small quiet site. Lovely hosts who gave opportunity for children to feed lambs and just gently let you stay on their site, whilst being there if needed. Really near beautiful lake and all the facilities were clean.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Small and quiet site with great facilities for a long weekend stay, including excellent hot showers. The site is sheltered with level pitches and only a two minute walk to Wimbkeball Lake and the circular route around the lake. The owners have put thought into the small set-up, the camping facilities (e.g.fridges, freezers and an under-cover drying line) and into the suggestions for places to visit in the area.

Liked: Lovely site tucked away at the bottom of a lane with just a short walk to the lake. Very friendly and helpful hosts who brought out bubbles to keep the kids occupied- thank you! Spotlessly clean facilities with the bonus of having a fridge and kettle. Nice and quiet, well maintained site. We'll definitely be back.
Disliked: No WiFi signal, which would be a negative for some but great for us to fully switch off. So no negatives!
