Excellent site
Bell tent (basic)
Liked Friendly, gorgeous surroundings, excellent facilities including plenty of clean showers and toilets and a well equipped camp kitchen.
Loads to do as there is an on site bar with events and catering but not at all noisy once you are on the campsite.
The area is beautiful and the Monarchs way footpath goes across the site which is great for walking.
Great value

Bell tent (basic)
Liked Excellent location with brilliant facilities. The barn where you could get drinks was great and there was a pizza van on site as well during our stay. Excellent facilities making a stay with young children very enjoyable. Would definitely return and recommend!

Bell tent (no pets, deluxe)
Liked Lovely campsite. Nice toilets and showers, and the camp kitchen very handy if you wanted a quick cuppa or for the fridge. We visited in May and the apple blossom was beautiful. Food available on Friday and Saturday night.
Disliked Be aware that there is live music on Friday night. Fab to watch but might not be so great if you want an early night.

Long or short this is a great place to stay. Clean and friendly.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Everything, I can't find fault with the site. For one of us this was a first time camping experience as an adult. Really unsure about using a compost toilet but these were clean and not even smelly in the slightest. We chose a Friday that had a function. The band wasn't on too late, the cider was fantastic, tacos lovely (tiny bit pricey but still overall worth trying). Access for cars is great.
Pitching up was straightforward car can go in to offload only but there is parking area attached to the field.
Most pitches are flat, grass is at a reasonable level, facilities are not very far away.
Owners are really friendly and considerate. Happy to have a natter.
If you are a light sleeper there is some early morning noise at about 6am from surrounding area from cattle n road. Would recommend ear plugs.
Disliked .
