  • Family holiday park with indoor and outdoor pools plus a fishing lake
  • A five-minute drive to Burnham-on-Sea and 20 to Weston-super-Mare
  • Sauna, Jacuzzi, restaurant, live entertainment, shop and play area
Run by a family for families, Home Farm Holiday Park really does have everything your travel crew needs for a satisfying stint in Somerset… including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools (open in the warmer months), with the latter having a mini water factory and a toddler splash zone. (At both pools you'll need to book slots in advance to make sure they're never overcrowded.) Parents can sprawl out on a free sun lounger while the kids swim at this site five minutes' drive from Burnham-on-Sea… or find a babysitter and make their way towards the well-stocked fishing lake to reel in common carp, bream and pike (with an environmental rod licence plus a Home Farm Fishing Permit). A fully equipped gym’s also here for the adults, along with a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room for an extra fee. Got the pup with you as well? A special dog-walking area is on site to make sure they're all tuckered out before the drive home Activities the clan can take part in together include live entertainment during the evenings at the Nite Owl complex, which has two amusement arcades, family-friendly restaurant and kids’ bar. If the big game’s on, catch it on the live BT Sports showings (footie fans might also appreciate that a football pitch is on site as well…), or stream it on the wifi while getting into the Somerset spirit by sipping on ciders. Just make sure to line the stomach beforehand with options from the takeaway menu or concoct your own meals using ingredients from the on-site supermarket. It’ll be easy to get home speedily after stays here, as the park’s close to Junction 22 of the M5 motorway.

Liked: I can't wait to share my glowing review of Home Farm Holiday Park! This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. The added perk of 1 hour of free swimming pool access every day was a delightful surprise, giving us the perfect way to unwind. The reception staff were exceptional, making check-in a breeze, and always ready with helpful recommendations. Kudos to the cleaning staff for keeping everything spotless; even the toilets were consistently clean, which is no small feat at a holiday park. The fishing lake provided a serene escape, and the park for kids was an absolute hit with our little ones. Thanks for another fantastic stay!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Lovely campsite. I was travelling alone with my two kids 2 & 9 years old. We was lucky enough to get a park up right next to the park there was plenty of spaces (booked in the Easter holidays) Unfortunately didn’t get to use the indoor pool as my youngest wasn’t feeling it when we book our slot. The evening entertainment was great and staff was lovely. Was a great price for what we got. The out door pool was closed as we went in April and even if was open you wouldn’t want to use it due to the weather. Our spot was also next to the shower and facilities. There where clean all the time. The showers were great for campsite showers lovely temperature. Definitely will return.

Disliked: No fault to the park but due to the time of the year and the weather it was muddy and to hook up to electric you had to go on the grass that was boggy would be great if there was a little path to them. Would been good to have WiFi on our pitch too as 21 centry kids can’t live without it.

Liked: The swimming pool was a decent size and the toilet/shower blocks always seemed clean and not busy. Nice play area for the kids.

Disliked: I felt cars drove a bit too fast around the site which made me feel a bit nervous with letting the kids off on their bikes. Shop & cafe area seemed as though it needed some TLC and a facelift.. The green hardstanding areas were extremely waterlogged and not sure any drainage had been put in which made keeping kids and van tidy almost impossible (though in fairness it’s been very wet the last few months!) Very poor wifi even in the entertainment complex.

Liked: The club house space was large and entertainment was good. Toilet blocks had radio playing in them and were clean and well maintained. Very helpful staff.

Disliked: It was a really muddy site, some pitches were flooded. Because we had a pet with us, our 'pet' pitches werent as nice as others. Very disappointing especially as we pay to take them! Minor, but I'd like to be able to adjust the height of the shower head.

Liked: Location. Entertainment was good. Showers cleaned regularly.

Disliked: After an hour wait....... Food is clubhouse was inedible. Pizza had raw mushrooms and ham thrown on served Stone cold and Hard base. Chicken burger was mushy and watery. Tikka massala was cold, and granular. Plate full of cold rice. Mac N Cheese was sloppy. Garlic bread was rock hard. All chips were stone cold. Booked for 4nights. Didn't go back after 1st night. Queuing system for bar was covid style still. Very odd. Dog walk was a bog. I know it has rained for 6years but the amount of work going on onsite they could pop a gravel path down. Hardstanding pitches are too small. Pitches too close together. Over priced.

Local attractions

This park’s close to Somerset attractions including Britain’s shortest pier at Burnham-on-Sea, about a five-minute drive away. If you’re up for a longer stroll, this coastal town also has a 2.5-mile promenade to wander on with shops and restaurants lining the front. For a bigger pier, head to Weston-super-Mare's seafront jetty a 20-minute drive up the coast and check out the old buildings of this Victorian-era resort while you’re there. For more browsing after dipping in and out of the town's antique shops, the discount outlets of Clarks Village are about half an hour away from Home Farm in the car. Splurging got you feeling peckish? Inland, and about a 20-minute drive from the site, is the tourist town of Cheddar for stocking up on the famed cheese and then taking it along to the scenic gorge nearby for a picnic...
