Primitive grass and earth tent campsite

Liked: We’ve recently stayed at Innisfee for 3 nights with our young children. The pitches are in a big field separated by long grass. Just the sort of campsite we like, with just a few pitches and campfires allowed. Tommy was very friendly and welcoming. The compost loo was very clean and didn’t smell. Whilst we knew there were no showers, we didn’t realise that there was no hot water at the washing up point. We’ve stayed a similar sites that have a bottle of gas hooked up to sort this. Hopefully, this is something that Innisfee might consider in the future. This didn’t affect our enjoyment and we would stay again happily.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite

Liked: Peaceful, simple, yet clean and friendly. Site team were inobtrusive and very helpful with local knowledge when needed. Kids ran free on their bikes in the hay fields and had an amazing time. Sunsets and sunrises across farm country were amazing as were the stars at night.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite

Liked: Had a great time. Lovely quiet campsite, felt really welcomed and looked after. Was a last minute booking but was very accommodating. Clean toilets and drinking water available. The owner was fantastic, lent us a firepit and gave us directions to a lovely spot for a long walk and a pub as well.
