Astro Turf powered cement/asphalt and grass tent or campervan campsite
Liked: Warm welcome , great facilities , a very well kept site , well stocked shop, excellent personal showers / wc’s - great bar - lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful bar staff - the bar was very busy ! Highly recommend this site , had a very enjoyable visit (even if the weather wasn’t great !) and will definitely return ..thank you
Disliked: Stayed on a mixed grass /astro pitch - the grass area for the van wasn’t totally flat and we had some difficultly accessing the WiFi from our pitch - but really not major issues as everything else was so good

Liked: From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The site is extremely well looked after, clean and tidy. The toilet blocks were always clean. The dog walking area is absolutely fantastic , my dog loved being able to be off lead. Monty’s Bar open 4pm - 8pm everyday was a great socialising area. We will be back again very soon.

Liked: Staff helpful Site very clean Toilet blocks and showers very clean Lovely walking area on site Great little shop and bar area
Disliked: Price of drinks in the bar and happy hour a bit of a con as not 2 for one which is what a happy hour should be.

From the manager: Thank you for the great review and recommendation. A bit confused on the Happy Hour '2 for 1' comment. We offer reduced prices at Happy Hour on things like pints of beer and wine. I don't know any pub in Happy Hour that you get 2 pints for the price of 1? We are very reasonably priced on our bar as most comments mention. Anyway, I am glad you had a nice stay with us.

Liked: Everything. It's absolutely amazing. No screaming kids. So peaceful. Showers are the best I've ever been in. Dog walking area is unbelievable, A doggy paradise in woods with lovely paths and so well kept. There's a golf course a bar. What more could you need.
Disliked: Bar opening hours. Closed to early but then that why its peaceful probably so not a major problem.

Liked: Great choice of pitch type from size , type for example large astro turf with or without electric. Adult only site which was very quiet. Dogs accepted with dog walk just outside main gate where dogs can go off the lead. Offers a small 9 hole golf , darts in the on site bar plus other games. Mobile catering truck each night offering hot food Pizza, Fish / chips and Thai on different days. Shower and toilets very clean, shop on site which has essentials and can provide breakfast/cream teas when ordered before 4pm previous day. Staff friendly, helpful and professional.

Disliked: Proximity to next pitches. Whilst pitches were spacious, they were seemingly very close.

From the manager: Thank you for the 10/10 and the review. We do have large pitches, so your neighbours would be fairly far from you. We hope you do come again.
