Bell tent (four person)
Liked: Beautiful secluded field Really quiet and off the main road Gorgeous views. The tent was beautiful and well equipped with everything needed to just pack a bag of clothes and turn up. Loved the eco shower, very clever!! Comes with an outdoor seating area , fire pit and logs provided. My son loved toasting marshmallows on the fire. Great directions and communication from Joanne and the other campers on site were lovely. It was a last minute booking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and she couldn’t of been more accommodating. We will definitely be back. 😊

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: A quiet camping field in a beautiful location, with the option to have a campfire; clean, basic facilities; and friendly owners.
Disliked: A small challenge: there is no shelter from the rain and the shower is so small it's difficult to keep one's clothes dry!
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for your feedback Alice. I have now made the shower bigger, it's 4x6 foot and there are pegs to hang up your clothes so they will definitely stay dry. I have also put a roof up over the washing area so there are no excuses not to do the dishes!

Liked: We were the only people there but the site was not very big which we loved, it was quiet and flat. We loved seeing the calves and the location was great for exploring locally. The owner was lovely and on hand if we needed anything.
Disliked: Nothing - we had a fantastic time.
