Liked: The gentleman on reception was great, the site was clean and tidy, the showers were wonderful, looks to be a new shower block.
Disliked: A bit too much noise from the road and then the dogs barking early .morning. but that cannot be helped

Liked: Wide check-in and check-out times, this really took the pressure off when packing up. Owners friendly and onsite shop useful. Pitches we big enough and being able to put up a gazebo between 2 pitches made a huge difference to our experience as two families camping together. Showers were hot and clean. Washing up facilities also clean.
Disliked: It would have been helpful to have a wall mounted baby changing unit in either sex changing. When cleaning our littlest one it was then very tricky to get him ready. For families it would help to have a small enclosed park with swings, slide etc for the kids to play in, especially when setting up or packing down.

Liked: Love the flexibility of checking in and departure times... made a real difference to organising the trip. Wish more campsites did the same !! Thank you and will definitely stay again, as we have Family in Barnstable and visit them 3-4 times a year. Greeted with a nice warm welcome from the owners.

Liked: It’s the first time we stayed here was given a tea and lollies for the kids when we arrived. Information pack with lots of informations. We really likes that there was not set time to have to leave which is great when you have kids as you don’t feel like you have to rush. Loved the site not busy so felt safe for the kids to play out and they made lots of friends. They got a little shop on site that has all the essentials at reasonable price and they have ice cream was really nice and great price to. Nothing was to much trouble everyone was friendly and the park was quite during quite times. Apart from the rain that can’t be controlled we had a great time there plenlty places to visit by driving and some lovely little local villages. Pitches great size and price which stays the same all year around. Will defo be looking to book again

Liked: Lovely welcome from owners and given a cuppa on arrival which was much appreciated. Peaceful site. Wonderful hot showers. Great to have a stool in each shower and really handy to have washing machine and tumble dryer on site. Owners also lent us an extension power cable - thank you.
