Primitive grass campsite
Liked: This campsite is set in Mid Devon perfect for exploring surrounding areas or just relaxing on site. Nestled in woodland with country walks all around. There are 2 lakes within the woods offering fishing or just space to sit relax and take in nature. The site is well maintained with a rage of pitches for all types of travellers. They have yurts in the woods, static caravans on the hill. Woodland pitches under the forest canopy. Hard standing areas with electric, grass pitches with electric and a meadow for the more wild camper. Shop providing things you need is open daily. Toilets showers and washing up areas are modern and clean with fridge freezer, baby changing, baby bath, shower seats and more. They have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you love walking, birds, peace and quiet then this is the place for you. We absolutely loved it here and will be returning soon with friends and family

Liked: Really lovely woodland setting, great facilities and lovely staff. Loads of space for kids to run around and explore the ponds.
Disliked: Free WiFi would have been appreciated since there is no phone signal. But an hour free was enough and we could switch off for the rest of the time.
