As Arnie said - I’ll be back.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Upon arrival, met with a friendly face, gave details of booking, told about details of where to drive & how to park, also advised of facilities.
Pitched & set-up. Job done.
The area was literally a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.. a pub/diner next door to the pitch with shops almost opposite as well.
Cracking sea views!
The toilets & shower facilities were almost spotless & kept very clean. There were bins at different points for recycling - plastics, bottles, cardboard as well as bins for bbq coals / ashes etc. You could even empty your porta/chemical loo as well. Various easy accessible water points too.
A little evening & morning food/coffee ‘van’ if you wanted to grab something without doing it yourself.. lol
A very well maintained pitch, the area was great, a 2 minute drive from the main town of Bude.
Couldn’t fault.
Disliked The only negative or dislike I could imagine anyone posting would be about the people who have also pitched up there - if they perform in anyway, not respecting the regs🤷🏻♂️.. that’s it.
Absolutely nothing to do with the campsite.

The friendly welcome & helpful managers…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The friendly welcome & helpful managers for whom nothing was too much trouble. Although we were rather dismayed to see how busy the site was when we arrived we were lucky enough to get a pitch at the front with sea view which was lovely.
The location is superb with easy access to the beach, eateries & excellent farm shop.
Toilets & showers immaculate & frequently cleaned.
Also a well equipped disabled wash room available for a £5 refundable deposit
Disliked Site more crowded than we would normally choose but not surprising given it's fantastic location & proximity to the beach.

Friendly easygoing site. Fantastic views,Great location worth a visit
Primitive grass campsite
Liked What a fantastic location. Sea views from the camp are beautiful and the beach is just across the road. Reception staff were very friendly. We got to choose our own pitch as they do not allocate pitches, which suited us and we parked our camper facing the sea. Nice touches to the camp with a few flowers and plants around the toilet shower area.
Showers and toilets are modern and clean and I first thought there was plenty of them until waiting for a shower proved a long wait in a que for those spending over 20 minutes in them. The site is quite large and lots of people are staying here at once. Perhaps more showers are needed or notices in the showers to remind people to not spend so long in the shower.
VICs Breakfast/lunch van on site is handy. Theres a large pub right next to the site which looks modernised with a kids outdoor play area. We went for an evening meal at the beachhouse which was one of the best I've had, amazing fresh fish and cocktails whilst watching the sunset over the sea. Great place for couples, families and surfers 👌
Disliked The field was uneven in places, we were on abit of a tilt. Paired with blustery winds it was hard work at first. Couldn't keep the van doors open without them slamming shut. Things blowing away 😆 I'm not sure we would of wanted to spend too long here because of this but it was perfect for our last night before setting off home again. Being right across from the sea and in an exposed field im sure this is not something that can be helped and is a part of the experience at this camp, so its more of a personal preference.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked This site is absolutely brilliant!
The staff are so friendly, giving and helpful.
The facilities are always clean and readily available and easily accessible from any part of the site.
The best part about this place is its location to the beach, it’s quite literally a stones through from the most wonderful beach! There’s also a beach side pub and cafe, as well as surf hire and a fab viewpoint which has ice creams! There’s also another pub/restaurant next to the entrance to the site.
I can’t recommend this place enough, I love it and will continue to visit this site for many years to come!
Disliked I had to go back home for work!
