If gentle roams are more your thing, join the South West Coast Path (Porthleven, 25 minutes away, is a decent beginning point) for lopes around the Lizard Peninsula to take in epic views over the craggy cliffs in this especially scenic part of the world. Away from coastal adventures, you may like to take a ride on the Helston Railway (20 minutes), clambering along the climbing route at Via Ferrata Cornwall (15 minutes) or have a gentle wander through Trebah Garden (15 minutes).
