- A cable measuring at least 20 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 7.5 metres are not allowed.
- If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.
- Bookings can only be accepted from families or couples where the named hirer is over 21 and is part of the holiday party. Campfires must be in a self-contained firepit raised off the ground and a safe distance away from tents, caravans and awnings.

I'm afraid the "tone" of an email is all down to the reader and not the author. A huge amount of hard work goes into repairing our grass pitches so they are ready for the coming year, we have recently treated the pitches with a weedkiller and have fresh seed down which would not take if we have people constantly walking over it. It is just a polite notice and not intended to cause offence.

Overall we had a pleasant stay here very peaceful site.

Liked Had a communication email,telling us everything about our arrival and pitch number etc. On arrival there is a board telling which pitch we are at,with phone numbers if we needed anything. A lovely clean site with tidy hedges on each side of our pitch,which was hard standing and spacious. The shower block was large and with at least 4 toilet cubicles and 2 large showers with a push knob . Water was hot at my time of being here. Everything was clean toilets,sinks,showers etc. Shop closed at our stay.. . bus service with quiet a good service just outside the site. Download bus service app for an up to date bus route location.
Disliked Small issue but there could be a bit more lighting from the toilet area

Liked Very clean and tidy site with polite and helpful staff. Good sized pitch for our motorhome. We tend to eBike to places. The site has easy access to the Camel Trail and various quiet roads to visit places such as Padstow, Camel Valley Vineyard, Wadebridge, etc. Well stocked info stand highlighting local poi’s.
Disliked Only two showers so expect to queue in peak season. The neighbouring road can get busy resulting in noise but didn’t bother us.

The only dislikes are the road noise, which you say didn't bother you and a speculation that there will be queues for showers in peak season - this is an unfair comment as you yourselves didn't stay in peak season or have to queue for showers.
If anyone looks at all our reviews, not one mentions queuing for showers from guests who have actually stayed with us during peak season.
