Liked: Close to the reservoir. The pitches were large and all manicured beautifully. The showers and facilities were spotless. The honesty shop was well stocked and a breath of fresh air in these current times. The owner was very friendly and stopped to chat to us about their happy pigs. Unfortunately our collie so out of character had a go at their little terrier for which we are truly sorry. Hope we will be allowed back again đ
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: I am glad we booked this place especially when options were not there but had option been there still this would have been the right choice. Both hosts were very helpful. They were very accomodating of our requests. Place is amazing. I felt like the kid who plays "home" by making tent of bedsheets in their bedroom during childhood days. One of the biggest pros, is near by river side sport. You got to try that. Very reasonable price and fun. This is totally worth it even if you doing this first time. All the cities were like 30 mins drive from here so you could spend day in the lake or visit the near by city in day time.
Disliked: I have no complains.

Liked: What is they not to like about this site one of the nicest sites we have ever stayed in Small friendly site, very flat pitches, toilets and facilities very clean and close to the pitches. The honesty shop was a great added extra and saved us as we had bought an awning the day before coming down and opened the bag and no pegs or mallet (managed to get some from the shop) Lovely location with a water sports centre on site and also a lovely dog friendly pub serving excellent food And of course we have to mention the female pig Dave đ· Great location to visit the southern border end of Cornwall Great prices will defo be returning

Liked: This campsite was one of the best we have stayed at. The pitches are really spacious, beautifully looked after, washrooms and kitchen areas are nice and clean with a quaint little honest shop. It is perfectly located next to Swithan lake and has a nice pub/restaurant which is next door. Met on arrival and fully briefed on the facilities available. With an added bonus of a camp pig đ đ. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.

From the manager: Wow, what a fantastic accolade, "best campsite you've ever stayed at". It really is heartwarming, as we work really hard all year round to get it ready for those 3 months, and it is nice to hear someone recognise the work we do behind the scenes. Hope to see you all again next year.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review, and we are genuinely thrilled, that you had a great stay. The weather was not on your side in August this year, but campers are a hardy bunch, and the weather didn't seem to deter anyone. If you book with us again - i will do my best to organise some sunshine for you.đ
