  • Dog-friendly pop-up site on the edge of Paul village in Cornwall
  • A 20-minute walk from Mousehole and half an hour from Newlyn
  • Off-grid and eco-friendly; pub five minutes' walk and beach 25 minutes
There are so many footpaths to follow from Kesoberi Community Farm that it’s no wonder the owners encourage you to turn up car-free or leave your vehicle behind at the site when it's time to explore. Set on the edge of the Cornish village of Paul, this off-grid pop-up site is within five minutes’ walk of the pretty village church and pub and also within walking distance of beaches, Mousehole, Penzance and Newlyn. Reach the harbour village of Mousehole in 20 minutes directly along a quiet lane or take a footpath with stunning views past a little stream known as Tumble Tyn. In the other direction and along another quiet lane is the fishing village of Newlyn (half an hour’s walk), with Penzance a bit further on (50 minutes’ walk or 10 minutes’ drive). If you want to skip the steep hill on the way back, simply take one of the regular buses to the top of the slope. All profits from the site go back into the community farm, where they use no-dig gardening methods and allow local people to use their allotments. The farm has planted a new native woodland and hedgerows that guests are welcome to walk around. On site, soak up the distant sea views of Mount’s Bay. From the large car park, there are wheelbarrows to help you cart your things around. The basic, off-grid facilities include composting loos and a gas-powered shower. Families and dogs are welcome, and you also have the green light to set up a fire or barbecue within a contained firepit. More car-free perks: as well as the regular buses from Penzance and Newlyn, there is an open-top bus that shuttles people around West Penwith and a train station in Penzance. A Newlyn beach (popular with locals) is around 15 minutes’ walk away across the fields.

Buttercup primitive grass tent or RV campsite

Liked The host’s were fantastic kind friendly and accommodating.
It’s a beautiful site no frills, compost toilets, lovely shower, and a pot wash. All you need for a quiet peaceful Eco friendly camp site.
Theres is approximately only 15 pitches with loads of space between pitches and all pitches have a stunning see view.
We went fir a one night stop and ended up staying fur 3 nights because of the wonderfull friendly hosts unfortunately I’m not good with names and I can’t remember if his name was Seb or Sess 😬 and I didn’t catch his partners name but they were truly lovely.
We are definitely going to return
Thank you for looking after us.

Disliked Nothing 😊

Local attractions

Make your way to Mousehole (20 minutes’ walk) to swim from the harbour, browse the cafés and shops or take a dip in the seawater Mousehole Rock Pool. Another local spot is Newlyn (half an hour along the roads or 15 minutes over the fields), where there are shops, galleries, a film house, a sandy beach and an outdoor sauna on Newlyn Green. Just a little further out is Penzance (10 minutes’ drive) and its outdoor pool. From Penzance, there are many boat trips to the Isles of Scilly or with fishing and wildlife watching themes. Gorgeous Marazion (20 minutes) and the famed St Michael's Mount sitting at the end of the causeway should be worth your while too. Stop by Marazion beach for paddleboarding or kayaking with a view you surely won’t forget anytime soon. Perhaps fill in any spare hours with trips to Lamorna Cove Beach (10 minutes), Carn Euny Ancient Village (15 minutes), The Minack Theatre, Land's End (20 minutes) and Sennen Cove (20 minutes).
