Lower Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: quiet campsite, large pitches, small separate fields, toilets and buildings in natural materials in keeping with the farming landscape, easy walk to the harbour, sustainable approach to energy and water use, reserved pitches for walkers without vehicles, under cover kitchen area, freezer for ice packs, charging point for phones. The thought that has gone into keeping sustainable is wonderful with low impact on the environment.

Liked: Plenty of space between each pitch. Very friendly manager. Lovely open countryside and not too far to walk to Coverack and sculpture park. Beach at Coverack smooth sand at low tide - avoid high tide as only rocky shoreline.

Liked: Very welcoming staff & owner, compost toilets very clean & plenty of them, spacious pitch, good walking route into the village, bit steep & slippery in wet weather but ok with suitable footwear. Clear directions to site from owner to avoid village as after arrival I checked the route via village & I would definitely been in trouble if I had towed the caravan that way.
