Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Peaceful location with roomy pitch and beautiful views over the valley. Enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds each day.
Disliked: We were disappointed to find there was no access to the beach as was described in the advert for the site. Facilities were very run down with intermittent water to the showers.

Liked: If you're a fan of camping, but find square fields boring, this is the place for you. There's a lovely selection of private camping spaces and not a square field in sight. Lots of wildlife and beautiful woody hills surround you. We met a couple of the guys living here and they were really friendly.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Good tent pitches to choose from spaced out from one another, peaceful environment, night sky full of stars on clear night, basic but clean facilities, friendly owner/workers, good views and can walk to beach about 2 miles away
Disliked: Can hear traffic noise from road if not windy which somewhat spoils the wild peacefulness and not loads of space fro car parking but these are minor things and overall very good

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: A lovely, quiet spot. Perfect for getting away from things. Clean basic facilities that did the job. The amphitheatre has a fire pit in the centre which is great for a bit of social. You can also chill by your tent and feel like you are all alone as each pitch has it's own secluded location. You can hear the sea, see the wildlife and relax. Friendly owners and a couple of well behaved, friendly dogs. You need to walk down a slope to access the pitches. Take a torch and wear sensible shoes.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Everything. Campsite is set in a beautiful rural valley location. The pitches are individual patches going down the hillside, so from my pitch I mostly couldn't see other tents and it felt very private. The atmosphere at the campsite was super relaxed and I really appreciated the time and space to myself. The people running the campsite are contributing to the local community both with workshops and foodbank donations, and I thought their ethos was great. Couple of friendly dogs on site who it was nice to say "hello" to. The whole place had a vibe of something that was being created and that's coming together. It's a bit ramshackle and I really appreciated that and the work that is going into making this place. I enjoyed the fact it was so small as this meant it was genuinely peaceful. Facilities were always available when i wanted them. Town of Camborne was a pleasant short cycle away. I thought this place was excellent value for money. I left feeling really grounded and would definitely plan to return, curious to know how much it may change in that time.
Disliked: Nothing. This place was perfect for me and I'd have happily stayed there for much longer than the 3 nights I had booked. I have mentioned above that this place is being built, so if you are expecting a shower block or facilities then this may not be for you. Very big family tents may struggle to pitch here.
